my new best friend...nuff said....

name change?

i saw this sign at a metro entrance for one of the stores. i don't know about you but i think it's time for a name change, n'est pas? maybe to "takin' a crap". haha!

REALLY???!! no spell check??? if you're gonna spend some moolah to make a sign, wouldn't you double, triple and quadruple check it before putting it up? i guess that's just me.....

this is a sign that you can see as you are coming down the stairs. now, mind you, you would have to be 7 feet tall in order to have a "meeting" with the awning but the Chinese just wanted to look out for ya and put this caution sign. remember..."be careful about a meeting"!!

"HIGH GRADE PUKE"

i found this in my hotel room and just HAD to take a picture of this. now mind you, this is a pretty nice 4-5 star hotel in hangzhou. you would think they would spell check things before they leave things out for the guests to you. i saw this and wondered, "what in the world is 'HIGH GRADE PUKE'. was there different grades for puke that i didn't know about??" i had to ask my language exchange teacher and he told me that this was pinying (sound) translation for "poker"...in chinese, it's PU-KE. so there ya go, high grade puke. =)
